I ramble. Short version = not!hiatus
Right. I should post this while I actually have a computer handy that can handle LJ for more than an hour.
Basically, earlier this week, my computer started randomly shutting down. At which point I discovered that the power out over the weekend while I was in Savannah zapped what was left of the fan on my power source -- which officially died when my dad was taking a look at it yesterday. So, no desktop computer.
But that's okay I have a back up! Right...? I mean... right?
Err... kind of. My laptop is almost 5 years old now, and while it does okay enough for IRC, it is very not robust, so my threading is going to drop to almost nothing because it really can't handle post cruising and that's a little frustrating to work with. (Except for tomorrow at which point I will endeavor to make a post but =_(\;;;)
SO! This is a not!hiatus which will most likely just merge with the full hiatus next week as I'm flying out to SanFran on Wednesday to go to my brother's graduation from the SF Art Institute (with honors! I might be a little proud of him. ^___^♥).
... and then I'll actually have to start going to movies in the theater again so that I can see his name on the credits. Urgh.
So anyway, if I drop something that you want to continue PLEASE let me know, either here or just poke the hell out of me when I get on IRC, and I'll do my best to pick up. I'm just going to be even more scarce than usual until my baby's fixed.
